Our mission is to provide reliable and quality in-home pet care and dog walking for your pet when you're on vacation or at work. Plus, we offer dog walking, house sitting and grooming services, too.

Were not only pet lovers, but were pet owners, too. Your pet will be treated as if it were our own.

At Primp Your Pet our goal is to make the pets and their parents happy. We are located in a quiet country setting in Jacksonville, Maryland. The shop is actually part of a barn that has been custom-built into a grooming salon. This type of grooming is much less stressful for the pets then in a loud, busy salon. The pets that visit Primp Your Pet are always guaranteed lots of patience, attention, and love. We welcome all pets and we’d love to meet you!

We are happy to announce that we now offer pet sitting and dog walking services!!! This includes, but certainly is not limited to daily visits, mid-day dog walking, sleepovers, grooming, and even house sitting. Who We Are:

Jessi

Primp Your Pet is owned by Jessica Oberlin. Jessica is a professional pet stylist, pet sitter, and dog walker. She has been a pet owner for her entire life owning and caring for: dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, birds, lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs, and fish. She worked at Falls Road Animal Hospital,where she was a receptionist and handled aspects of Doggy Day Care and pet boarding. Jessica did an apprenticeship with a company in York, PA that groomed, bred, and showed English Springer Spaniels. She worked as a bather, then became a certified pet stylist and groomed pets for a total of 5 years with PetSmart. Jessica started her own grooming business, Primp Your Pet, in 2005 and takes great pride in it. She is an active member of Pet Sitter's International and Pet Sitter Associates. She is currently working on becoming a certified professional pet sitter through PSI's certification program! Jessica's passion is animals and she could not imagine life without them! Your pets are guaranteed to be treated with lots of love and as if they were her own!

Jana

Jana has always been around cats and dogs. She started off working at Canine Helpers for the Handicapped where she spent a lot of her time walking, feeding and medicating all the dogs. She was then promoted to a training position where she trained the dogs for the handicapped. Jana then did basic obedience training with dogs and their owners. She worked at Falls Road Animal Hospital where she worked as a receptionist and worked with the doggie day care. Jana wanted to expand herself so she started as a cashier at PetSmart then very shortly was promoted to a bather, and then promoted again as a groomer. She also learned how to groom cats and then became the grooming manager. She has been grooming for over 7 years and loves what she does. She also has over 2 years experience as a veterinarian technician. She is always committed to animals who are always loved and cared for like they are hers!
